Personally, I liked it quite a bit, but inexplicably, it appears to have been relegated to
the dollar bins. There are a few throw-aways (Car Phone, The Trees are all Gone)
but Elvis Costello's "You Bowed Down" was perfectly tailored for Roger and is one of
the best things he's ever done.
I saw McGuinn live when he was touring for this disc at Toad's Place in New Haven,
CT and I want to say that a band called the Headlights where his backing group.
When he opened with "Tambourine Man", I swear it sounded like the original Byrds
where up there.
