I picked up a great budget 2CD Del Shannon Comp on Charly last year in London called "The Definitive Collection." Good sound quality, a total of 60 tracks, all the hits plus some deeper b-side and album cuts and a tacky little color poster to boot. Incredible deal at an HMV or Virgin sale for 4.99 pounds in a nice quality slipcase. There are a whole series of other 50' & '60s rockers sets in the series as well. Deal City.

Also in the Wilbury's mode, his final album called Rock on was produced by Jeff Lynne and Mike Campbell and, yup I made a Wilbury's comp with a few of those tracks (and Full Moon Fever, Armchair Theater goodies) tossed in. IMO it was a great Del Shannon record, he could've easily been a Wilbury. Even better than the new Liz Phair... It was on MCA in 1991. Snag it if you can.
