While I remain fascinated with filing variations in personal collections, I have long been amused by the variations in record stores. The genre thing is almost as much fun as alphabet and color coding. In most every store Beatles and Badfinger are in the Pop/ Rock section while groups like the Monkees and Jan an Dean can be found in oldies (despite more recent releases), surf, etc). Maybe the categories are really "sells more" & "sells less"?
And now we will be tormented with morphing across formats (DVD, DVD-A, enhanced yada-yada...). Same size discs in different size packages that probably end up in the box-set section. Thank God for librarians and "records" experts who can bring us the truth in filling. Which for some odd reason prompts me to ask the following question of Jamie Hoover: So if you are driving to IPO, does that mean you may be smuggling some boxes of various cool recent Bullseye artist's discs to pawn for gas money?

T-minus 18 days to IPO trip where more CD acquisitions are sure to further complicate filing dilemmas...
