I highly recommend the 2 Blue Shadows cd's from the 90's. Bill Cowsill
and Jeffrey Hatcher in harmonic twang bliss. OOP but pretty easy to
find from Canadian used dealers. Cowsill's early Canadian band Blue
Northern is great 1980 skinny tie pop with a bit of twang. And
Hatcher's solo comes recommended via other Audities folk tho I've
been unlucky in securing a copy.

I just heard an excellent late-60's sunshine pop group from Canada
called The British North American Act. Their sole record is "In The
Beginning".

Another semi-rarity is The Numbers "Add Up" lp from 1980 with the
killer power-poppers Sideways Elevator, Out To You and Leave It To Me.

Anyone mention Grapes of Wrath and of course Zumpano & the new kings
of pop The New Pornographers?
