Yeah, I'm pretty excited about the fact that King
Radio is opening for them. Found out about King Radio
through this list and ordered their ep off of the Not
Lame site... really looking forward to the Mercury
Lounge show!

Hi Nicole, I found out about Radio King at IPO in Chicago. They were very
cool to see live. Sublime soft pop and some more rocking numbers too. It
was a treat to see a band with a full orchestration and be able to pull it
off so well. Plus, Frank has a fabulous voice. I wish they were warming
up for the Pernice Brothers here in Minneapolis. It should be a great
double bill for you.
King Radio does cover the territory of sound very nicely. Be it great power
pop with Not Lame's Mission Orange EP, or the "soft pop" of "Are you the
sick passenger?" and "The curse of the bambino". Finally, a very solid
debut with "Mr. K is dead, go home". Yes, I have all four. Great stuff
Frank!

(IMHO the best song referencing sleeping is Lennon's "I'm only sleeping")
