I sent this last night, but I think I used the wrong account ... oops ... so
sorry if it shows up twice.

I would recommend The Hellacopter's 'Payin' The Dues' and a few of their
friends ... Nomads have two excellent double cd collections on Sympathy, The
Dictators latest album 'D.F.F.D' is a great, and early Estrus stuff like
Mono Men 'Wrecker' and the Mortals 'Ritual Dimension of Sound' are classics.
The genre is sometimes referred to as big dumb rawk (in a nice way) - lots
of Sonics worshiping involved. Early nineties Australian scene is worth
exploring too - I think a couple of really great compilations of the
Australian stuff have come out recently - essential if you don't have any
yet.
