Has MOJO been putting out some amazing freebie cd's lately or what!?
This months issue w/Plant, Page on cover features 28 (!) garage rock
classics w/lots of rare bands I've never heard of (or if I knew the name
figured I'd never "hear"). Just flippin' amazing. Imagine being a
young'un and having this mind expanding stuff just handed to you (er,
for a 10 spot). Why in my day we had to work for our music and walk
miles (in the snow) to record stores where they didn't have no fancy
listening areas....grumble....nattter <grin>

But a problem I've been having w/MOJO is the fact that the font size is
minuscule these days. And while I'm not really that elderly at all, its
a fact that text is harder to read when you age and couple that w/the
diminished size of text cos I have pretty lousy vision to start with
(glasses make text and things in general seems a bit smaller -- betcha
didn't know that you 20/20 types out there). The truth is I don't just
grab the issue and voraciously read from cover to cover but these days I
have to really be in the mood and have good lighting.

I'll stop now but really viva MOJO and viva UNCUT (tho I don't buy every
month) and HARP and etc,

Regards, Judith
