Yes it is he. As for what higher art he has chosen, I
would call it a watered down Ryan Adams. He and Ryan and
good friends and RA produced, played, sang and I think
even co-wrote some of the songs.
I downloaded the import version of this CD last year and
was highly disappointed in it. I know a lot of folks love
this album, but I cannot get my ears around it. It just
sounds like he is trying to hard to sound like Ryan Adams.
I do know that some folks who hated the record have given
him his props when it comes to a live show.
