well I'm glad i'm not the only one that bought a
slightly cheesy 70's comp as their first album
purchase! Mine was a K-tel compilation that I got at
the local K-mart in 1975. I don't remember the name
of it, but it had a light blue cover with a bright red
and yellow bullseye in the middle. I know that the
Bay City Rollers and KC and the Sunshine Band were on
it (but I forget exactly which songs); in fact the
only song that I know for a fact was on it as "Play
That Funky Music White Boy" because I played it over
and over and...
I wonder if that record is hiding someplace in my
mom's house waiting for me to rediscover it..
