I always thought Yes were name checking themselves in "Tempest Fugit".

Counting Crows namecheck themselves on "A Murder of One"
and Living In A Box do it on their only hit single. No, I have no
freakin' idea why that popped into my head. ;-) But I really dig that
guys voice. Back in my Level 42 daze ... ahh
