I remember various stints on the show by Kevin Seal and Kathryn Helman
(sp.?), the latter responsible for an incredibly over-the-top eulogy to
Husker Du. "In Swedish, 'Husker Du' means, 'Do you remember?' At '120
Minutes,' we always will."

And Squeeze. And the Smithereens. And Michael Penn. And Graham Parker.
God, that first season was so great. And Jules Shear would always come out
and do a song with the artists at the end, which, it seems to me, more often
than not would turn out to be a Jules Shear song. Okay, maybe I just
remember that being the case once or twice...but it definitely happened,
because I used to do an impression of it. "Hey, wow, you guys were great,
okay, let's do one of mine now...!"
