Keith:
Speaking of Jonathan, I was surprised when I heard that ad also.
I had to pull out my best of the beserkley years CD and listen to the Modern
Lovers again.Does anyone know what album the version of the song they are
using in the ad
is from? I had the Live  album which I thought was the original and is the
version on
the best of.But this is not the version in the commercial.

Eytan:
The original version is from the Beserkley album "Rock n Roll with the
Modern Lovers," which as others have pointed out is not the most
appropriately titled album since it includes a Chinese folk song, a South
American folk song and some other pretty mellow stuff. I've got this on
vinyl. Unfortunately I no longer have a record player. A lot of Jojo's
albums aren't available on CD now.

I saw Jojo last night at a sold-out show at the Knitting Factory. It was a
good show, though a little too heavy on foreign language songs for my taste
since he has so many other songs he could've sung.
