A collection management program that I've used for almost 10 years is
Music Collector <www.collectorz.com>. The price of Music Collector
includes a lifetime of free upgrades. Features include;

   * Catalog your CDs quickly and easily, without typing.
     Just insert your CDs in your computer and Music Collector will
     download all information from the internet (CDDB)
     <http://www.gracenote.com>.
   * Instantly sort the list on any field.
     E.g. alphabetically on artist, title or label, or sorted on
     release date or purchase date.
   * Print sorted lists.
     Ideal for insurance purposes, or to take with you to the store.
   * Search your CD collection on any field.
     E.g. find all tracks with the word "love" in the title.
   * Easy to use, intuitive user interface

Other features:

   * Explorer-like interface, allowing grouping on Artist, Genre, etc..
   * Loan Manager helps tracking which CDs you loaned and to whom.
   * Export lists to HTML and ASCII files
   * XML/XSL based view of items, fully user configurable.
   * View graphical charts, with bars per artist, genre, label, etc...
   * Music Collector runs on Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME, XP and 2000.
