Speaking of ads... my 8-year-old daughter was watching one of
her "shows" the other night ('Lizzie McGuire' or 'Even Stevens'). I
was in another room and her show went to commercial and I was stunned
to hear Jonathan Richman singing his song "Ice Cream Man". I rushed
into the room. I have no idea what the ad was for, but it was one of
those ice cream trucks that come around neighborhoods (just at dinner
time). I was shocked to hear JoJo!

The best part about this is that my daughter liked the song so much,
she asked my wife about Jonathan the next morning, and when I came home
from work that night, all of our Jonathan LPs, tapes, and CDs were
strewn across her bed as she was checking them out!

I am going to make a Jonathan mix-disc for her this weekend.
