The first record I ever owned was the Dave Clark 5 Return, which contained
the first "rock and roll" song I ever liked: Can't You See That She's Mine. I
was 6 years old when my grandmother bought the album for me. My parents
wouldn't buy the album for me because they were sure this new music from England
was just a fad, but my grandmother would do anything for her only grandchild.
My dad still doesn't like anything released after 1954.
The first record I bought with my own money was Crosby, Stills, & Nash's
debut album.

NP: The just purchased Jeevas 1-2-3-4 - I still love the DC5 to this day and
it would take a great CD to better my first purchase. Unfortunately, the
Jeevas isn't it.
