GAH!! *eye roll* Not EEEven! I never liked Shaun
Cassidy! RICK SPRINGFIELD ALL THE WAY!
So, I guess the first record I bought with my own
money was "Working Class Dog" when I was 11. It's
kind of a weird blur, though, because my best friend
was 2 years older than me and we split the Columbia
House 1 cent for 12 records, thing, so I might have
gotten something else earlier. I remember she had
Styx "Paradise Theater" with cool etching in the
vinyl.
The first records I bought with my own money that
REALLY had meaning for me would include Duran Duran
"Rio" and Squeeze "Singles 45 and under"
Being an odd only child, I NEVER wrote on any of my
books or records. Maybe a carefully placed address
label, but that's it. My Pee Chee folders on the
other hand! God, I wish I still had them. Works of
art, I tell ya.
Anna
