It could very well be...although I think most would
agree that FOW is a bit more catchy and musically
accessible than Wilco. My problem with the new FOW
record is inconsistency: There are a few fantastic tracks
that I just can't get enough of (Little Red Light, No Better
Place, Hey Julie, Valley Winter Song, Halley's Waitress)
..most of the others (IMHO) are OK but pretty forgettable,
and the "singles" (Stacy's Mom, Bright Future in Sales)
while catchy as hell, are a bit...well....dumb!

P.S. Considering the drivel most majors are putting out these days,
this is still an awesome record!

 I have listened to the new FOW about 3 times now..cant get through the whole 
thing..at least not yet..seems quite a few are raving about it..I guess I 
don;t get it
  
 While not nearly as bad..is the new FOW this year's wankfest?  ..ala wilco 
yankee red sox foxtrot motel?
