Of course I enjoy the outright derision in select company. And you could
never make me give up mocking awards shows, whatever crap video is on at the
moment, Avril trying to stay in key live, etc.  I've just tried to stop
arguing with people who couldn't care less (mostly my family).

I had an argument with my brother and he called the Ramones garbage or
something and I told him that maybe in the future he could check a box on
his VISA application - and they will just send him concert tickets and cds
based on his demographic - and he won't even have to worry anymore which of
the top ten albums at Costco are the best.  And he's the guy who had all the
Beatles and Stones albums when I was little - saved me from a 100% New Wave
80's musical experience, so it was kind of a cheap shot.  Long story short -
he still doesn't listen to the Ramones - 'cept at hockey games.

My other brother gets credit for Cheap Trick and George Jones.
