Flying Colors doesn't carry any comics labeled 'adults only'. Our landlord wouldn't give us us a lease here unless we agreed to that clause. But truth to tell, I have no problem with it. We have one of the most civilian-friendly, accessible comic book stores, and I think the absence of 'adults only' material plays into that. While
I do appreciate Manara's art, most of his stuff is 'adults only', so we can't display it.
Back to the music, the New Pornographers name is really the only thing that holds me back from buying their cds. And I wouldn't have gone to the trouble to tape the Letterman appearance if I wasn't at least curious about their music.
And I love the Pearlfishers---and have a pretty good idea their name isn't one to explain to the kiddies....
