My family were my guide. My parents took my sister and me to latin
music performances when I was really young. My older brothers and
sister were way older than me. The closest in age is my bro Xavier (10
yrs age difference) and he's the one that really got me going. He was
the punk rocker, my sister like bubblegum and Juan Gabriel, my other bro
was a stictly radio hits guy, and the oldest brother (20 yrs) was into
CCR and country music.
Now, it's like a mini contest between my bro Xavier and I on who
discovers a new band quicker. I still rib him on discovering The Smiths
before he did.
