Another record I cant stand was "Never Been To Me" by Charline - one of the
worst records ever made. It bombed back in 1977 but some DJ put it on the
air in 1981-2 and it became a hit.
The whole radio staff at my college radio station hated the song but our
instructor insisted we play it since it was a hit. Same with most of Lionel
Richie's wimp solo ballads, except his work the early (pre "Easy")
Commodores which were a funk group in the style of (pre "Ladies Night")
Kool & The Gang.
