Sort of, by way of the travel stops the band was supposedly named after.
This is a weird thread. Tweedy writes some of the best pop out
there, in my opinion. Did YHF live up to all the hype, maybe not.
Before you lay to far into radiohead, OK Computer is the best
mainstream record of the last 15 years and about as close to a
masterpiece as is possible in this day and age. Is the hype
surrounding Kid A... et al. a bit more than the music deserves?
maybe. When I hear bands like Radiohead and Wilco called overrated
and Aerovons championed.... Well I know we all like to root for the
little guy, but isn't there some scale upon which good music can be
measured that doesn't negatively include record sales and positive
reviews in spin magazine.
