Francis Albert Sinatra / Antonio Carlos Jobim is another favorite. 
The reissue of this is one of the most spectacular sounding things my 
stereo has ever experienced.


Hi Frank, I have this one coming via the mail too. I have just been 
getting into Jobim and almost mentioned him too. The comp on verve 
called "jazz masters 13" is outstanding. It has such a great feel to 
it.  

Also, I have been listening to a lot of Peggy Lee. Most of this is 
not really soft pop. However, the track "I feel it" is pop perfection 
to my ears.  Man what a song.
