I have to chime in here. Already posted about Mr. Carpenter's show at my
house a few weeks back. (well, my backyard, actually)
Adam Marsland came through Ft. Collins this past week and, as always, it's a
joy to see such passion and fury combined attached to but a single guitar
or, occasionally, keyboard. Marsland is one of those guys who *truly* gets
better and better with each gig he does. Not a lot of folks at the lovely
Starlight on a Tuesday night, but those who were there more than appreciated
Marland's take on Iggy's "Open Up And Bleed" manifesto. Adam rocked
righteously as if he had a kicking band behind him and strolled around the
club urging pool playing patrons to listen up, if only for a few seconds.
If you have never seen Marsland in your home town....well, do. He's been on
the road for two years now hitting every shit hole in the country playing to
2 to 20 to 200.
Streams of cheers to Adam for being one of the hardest working guys I know
in music.
Peace,
Bruce @ Not Lame
