a couple years back NBC then MTV used several Spinning Jennies songs as
background on an absolutely unwatchable (my opinion) show called making the
band....-Doug

I know awhile back, Bill from Einstein's Sister had mentioned that their 
music had been licensed to be used on some of MTV shows as background music.
I'd 
heard some before but last week, on one show, I heard them play "Mermaid 
Parade"
 
Then just now I'm watching The Real World (yeah, yeah.. I know) and they
just 
played "Sunshine" by The Waking Hours.
