For any Jason Falkner fans and/or folks who appreciate his production skills
or want to know how he got those guitar/drum/vocal sounds on his 4-track
demos, etc., there's a really good interview with Falkner in the new
(May/June) issue of TAPE OP. Often they put these up on their website,
though I checked and don't see it yet. The magazine can be had via a free
subscription and is very useful and cool if you have any recording
ambitions, but would be a drag if you don't as it's all about recording
equipment and techniques. I'm sure I'm boring the 95% of you who already get
the mag. But if you don't, search it out for the Falkner interview. It has
pictures of his studio and goes through his recording technique/equipment
etc.
