David Bash mentioned Rooney recently. I think they've been around the L.A.
scene for a while, but their debut album (I think) was released last
Tuesday. I'm really loving "Blueside."
The only other tidbit, which I already passed along, is that
singer/guitarist Robert Carmine is Jason Schwartzmann's brother (he of
Phantom Planet fame) and Talia Shire's son. I actually think they sound
like Phantom Planet's little-brother band.
