Hiya. The Pit has been kinda quiet lately, mainly because I've been
preoccupied with other things. Sorry. Anyway, I finally got around to
pulling it all together last night, and we now have two new klogs (both guest writers)
for your reading pleasure.
Rock On! (Jeff Lindquist)
Jeff responds to my TsooL klog: "...most of the good-to-great music
coming out today is on indie labels that feel 20,000, not 20,000,000,
copies sold is a success, and bands are given the opportunity to
actually create and feel their own music. And this feeling carries over
into the live performance."

Ten You May Have Missed in 2002 (Gary Pig Gold)
Nobody has time to listen to everything, right? So Gary Gold offers up
ten releases from last year that you might have - probably - missed, and
which you might want to track down and check out.

Happy reading, and happy Memorial Day.

You may have success in life, but then just think of it -
what kind of life was it? What good was it - you've
never done the thing you wanted to do in all your life.
I always tell my students, go where your body and
soul want to go. When you have the feeling, then stay
with it, and don't let anyone throw you off.
