Hey Folks,

Just now learning about this songwriter from Buffalo, NY, and I'm wondering if anyone can direct me to where I can purchase his cd's. Searches on NL and cdbaby resulted in no matches. To add insult to injury, his listing on All Music Guide provides zero information. It looks like he got a mention from lister Mark Tate way back in '99:

"The first is by Michael Oliver & Go, Dog Go! called "Pop & Circumstance."
I believe Not Lame carries this though the CD is listed as "Go Dog Go" by
Michael Oliver. It's in one of the recent e-mail updates from Bruce. If
you are a fan of Chris von Sneidern, Bill Lloyd, Richard X Heyman, John
Wesley Harding, Dwight Twilley, Freedy Johnston, David Grahame, etc.,
then you'll love this album. It has a mixture of pure power pop, midtempo
ballads and pure pop that deal with affairs of the heart. The songwriting
is excellent, the variety of tempos and styles, like CVS and Lloyd, are
excellent, the band is excellent and MO's vocals are excellent. All
superlatives aside, I believe after 4 listens that this album belongs in
the company of much of the previously mentioned artists output. If you
are a fan of singer-songwriter type pop, then this is a must. It's one of
the best albums I've heard this year."

Mark really nailed it here........I can't believe this guy isn't at least as well known as the above-named artists. As luck would have it, I stumbled upon some mp3's of his, but have no idea if this is the Pop and Circumstance record. It appears Bruce carried at least that one at the time of its release. Half.com and eBay had nothing either. Help! Any information on this guy is greatly appreciated. Any other artists in this vein that are languishing in obscurity?

Wade
