I understand that Michael Penn originally produced a number of tracks
for this album, which were subsequently scrapped in favor of something
presumably a little more radio-friendly. Not that Michael Penn isn't
radio-friendly to my ears, but then, I personally can't stomach
commercial radio these days for more than 5 minutes at a time. Or less.
Would've been interesting to hear what he did with Liz.
