The $35 setup fee is waived now through May 31. If you don't have your
CDs listed there, now is the time to get a move on it. It's a great site
and a great place to sell your music wares. Read below.

Greg

>From today through May 31, I'm waiving the $35 setup cost for CD
Baby. Spread the word. Forward this to lists. Post it anywhere.

Since most other places to sell your CD are either getting more
expensive or shutting down, I wanted to open up this one window of
opportunity for all those who want to set up their entire past
catalog at CD Baby.

For over 5 years, our rates have been exactly the same: $35 per
setup, $4 per CD sold. And I can promise you in writing that those
rates will *never* go up. There's no need to, see:
http://cdbaby.org/?topic=1

As for selling non-CD merchandise (shirts, hats, singles, vinyl,
posters, bowling balls, etc.) - we'll be ready to do that in the next
couple months. That will always be free: $0 per item to set up, and
we'll only take a 9% cut of the selling price. But don't send us
anything in the mail yet. I'll email you as soon as it's ready.

TO GET A CD SET UP ON CD BABY FOR FREE:

#1 - If you're not already a member, go to
http://cdbaby.net/submit.htm - and sign up.

#2 - For every CD you want us to sell, click "ADD NEW ALBUM" inside
your members login area, and give us ALL of the information about it.

#3 - Mail us 5 copies of each title before May 31, with a big picture
of a smiley-face instead of a $35 check. Yes you actually have to
draw a big smiley face on a piece of paper or I won't waive your $35.
 Because we're weird like that.

That's it! Nice and simple.

Cool, huh?

P.S. If you ever wondered why it really does cost $35 for us to add
a new CD to the store, read this link: http://cdbaby.net/35.html

P.P.S. People who host their website on Hostbaby ALWAYS get the $35
CD Baby fee waived: http://www.hostbaby.com
