It's been years since I saw it, but it was basically the story of a band
whose dreams of getting famous are destroyed by management, rip-off artists, and
the cold cruel reality of the music biz. Some Spinal Tap-ish moments, but it's
more of a gritty realistic view of the music industry. Reputed to have
seriously damaged Slade's career due to their fans being confused by the image of
the band portrayed. I don't have much hope of it being released in the US, but
if it is, I'll be getting a copy.
