I love their earlier stuff too, and while I lost interest after "Document"
I truly recommend that former R.E.M. fans check out their last release
"Reveal".  While it doesn't have all the lovely guitar textures that the
early records have, the band uses a lot of rich keyboard textures and there
is plenty of Buck's guitar.  There is also a real return to form from a
songwriting standpoint.  It's a bit of a grower, but well worth your time. I
think it flew under the radar for a lot of folks.  Listen with headphones
and be transported....:)
