I think the reason Greg misconstrued Stewart's point, which was not
addressed to Josh, is because there was no transition sentence. (Such as,
"Josh, you are correct, people should create their own imagery, however, the
major complaint many people have about videos is that they take away that
very ability.") Stewart was addressing the more common anti-video
complaint, that the video takes away the ability to form one's own
impression of the song, and his take on that is pretty much mine. However,
in making that point, it came sequentially after the portion from Josh's
post, it appears to be a direct response. In other words, it was misread.
There's some stuff in Greg's post that I don't quite agree with, but I don't
have the time to respond now (you lucky people....)
