From "Drew MacDonald" <drewmacdonald@attbi.com>
Subject Stax lives on eMusic
Date Fri, 2 May 2003 19:06:58 -0700

[Part 1 text/plain Windows-1252 (0.9 kilobytes)] (View Text in a separate window)

Contents of the big 10-disc box --as well as a huge trove of other
Fantasy/Stax releases-- are available for download to eMusic subscribers.
However, I would advise people to wait a few days before going for these;
eMusic is in the process of changing their mp3 compression rates from 128kps
to VBR (yay!) and, as of a few minutes ago, they hadn't gotten to the Stax
stuff yet.
