The show seemed to start with the sole intention of finding another way for 
Dick Clark to make more money  from re-cycling old American Bandstand clips. 
   Having new artists impersonate 60's performers is at least a more clever 
marketing tool.

Maybe the daughter of the white family and the son of the black family will, 
in the words of Marvin Gaye, "get it on" and get some real drama going.
