Yes, the gimmick sucks.
They had Duncan Sheik do Bobby Darin a few weeks
back, and the portrayal was unfavorable in many
ways. I have to laugh, though...the Bobby Darin
fan list went NUTS, boycotting advertisers and
mounting a huge letter writing campaign. I just
didn't care enough...
How can shows like Futurama and Andy Richter
Controls the Universe get cancelled, but this
crappy show continues!? I know...different
networks...but jeesh.
