<<< Michael Coxe asked: NP: Will & the Bushmen - my first listen, pretty
good. Have these guys
or Will Kimbrough been discussed here before? And does the Will &
the Bushmen cd "Blunderbuss" have a Brad Jones connection?>>>

The only thing I have of Will's is his cd from 2001 (re, at least i think
2001), entitled "This". I like it a whole whole lot, one of my favorites
of the year it was released. Very good songwriter, comfortable vocal
delivery, good performances, passionate catchy music. Saw him open for Amy
Rigby, bought the CD immediately, did not regret it. Records available at
www.waxysilver.com.

For some reason, I put this album in the same category as John Hiatt's great
"Riding With the King", which to me is pop with a roots/rock/americana/blues
slant -- as opposed to much of John Hiatt's work which is
roots/rock/americana/blues with a pop slant. I like most all Hiatt, for the
record, but like "RWTK" best. If I recall correctly, RWTK features Nick
Lowe as a band member on one side of the record, as well as other pop
luminaries throughout, whose names I can't remember at the moment...
