Ah, someone else has discovered this true gem of an artist! For fans of the
Sports, don't expect anything close to their output. Cummings' solo work is
more personal, somber and quiet. I've got all his solo CDs (as well as the
Sports stuff) and he keeps releasing amazing stuff. His latest,
"Firecracker", from this year, is one of his best solo albums ever! There
was also another solo CD released 'tween Spiritual Bum and this one, but
I've forgotten the title.
I recommend one of the solo comps of Cummings material or go for the 2 CDs
produced by Steve Kilbey in the '90s.
