Ok, here's my AM memory.  The WDRC (Hartford) DJ all evening was saying they
were going to have something special to play one night, something that the
other stations didn't have yet, that they were getting from someone who was
driving up from NYC.  So I'm in bed supposed to be asleep, but listening to my
portable radio with the earpiece.  Finally it arrives, and it's the new
Beatles LP, and they put the needle down, and the first song is "Back in the
USSR".  Yow, the Beatles rocked now!  They probably played the whole album that
night, but that's the only song I remember listening to.  Maybe the next song,
"Dear Prudence", put me to sleep.
