Mark London's comments about ABBEY ROAD, not my opinion, BTW, got my wheels
spinning. In particular, his comment about "I Want You (She's So Heavy)".
Like it or not, boy, there are a slew of artists I've heard rip it off or do
a variation on it.

Which leads me to this --

of the individual Beatles songs, which are the most influential? The ones
that you can hear the most in other tracks, either directly or indirectly?

Two that I would rank highly --

"Rain" - just for Paul's oft-imitated bassline

"Getting Better" -- that guitar chord thing is on about 1 million other
songs, primarily power pop ones.

What does everyone else think?
