Gabe,

His first two solo albums "Slaughter On Tenth Avenue" and "Play Don't Worry" 
are excellent as is all of his work on the Ian Hunter solo albums.  He was a 
member of Mott The Hoople in their last days.  I think that is him on 
"Saturday Gigs" & "Foxy Foxy".  His production and playing of Morrissey's lp 
was great too.
