I love BIG BEAT - it's my favorite Sparks album and I have all but the last
couple - but that record with Mick's touch (and guitar playing) would be
incredible! A good parallel to draw (in my imagination) would be what he
brought to YOUR ARSENAL for Morrissey. Mike, did the Maels mention why they
went with Rupert (no relation) over Ronson?
And to the person who voiced that Ronno was so much more than the guitar
player whom I lauded, I agree wholeheartedly, and am well aware of his
accomplishments. Wasn't slighting his contribution in the least, merely
celebrating the level of appreciation I had for him as a guitar player
(although I'm pretty sure your intent was just to laud some huzzahs on the
late great one as well).
