Mick Ronson produced the demos for the tracks that ended up on Sparks' BIG
BEAT. In an interview with Ira Robbins in Trouser Press, Ron and Russell
Mael stated that these demos were much better than what got released (BIG
BEAT was Sparks' 'guitar' album -- Rupert Holmes produced it in the most
curious fashion -- it just sounds a bit off). Someday I hope these demos
surface, particularly since I presume Mick played guitar on the demos.
