April Stevens & her brother Nino Tempo are also famous for the incredible
song "Deep Purple", also "I Love How You Love Me. There's a long list of
great songs both written & performed by these two. For details about
April (& Nino), see:

There's a very good cd on Varese which covers the highlights of their
career called "Sweet & Lovely: The Best of Nino Tempo & April Stevens".

There's also "All Strung Out", their "psychedelic" album, originally
on White Whale, again rereleased on Varese.

Their work was recorded at Gold Star, and Nino's arrangements could be
considered Spectropop. He played sax & other instruments in Spector's
girl group records.
