One band I was suprised was omitted from the Boston Rock Museum website --
Classic Ruins -- they did a killer version of The Lyres' "Geraldine".
Two bands I remember from the '80s --
Serious Fun -- they had a track on a comp called "Arrest My Heart" that was
simply killer dramatic power pop. If anyone has this, please contact me.
Awesome song.
Lifeboat -- They had a cool EP -- saw them play a gig with Dumptruck and
Translator at the Metro ages ago. The song I remember -- "Bully Up".
Moving to the West Coast --
Pop Art put out a best of CD a few years ago -- it had 8 tracks from SNAP,
CRACKLE -- not my choice -- LONG WALK NOWHERE was my fave, but 16 tracks
from Pop Art on one CD is a great thing.
