well, i wouldnt' claim to be well-schooled - I like a
lot of the bigguns: brad jones, mitchell froom/tchad
blake, david fridmann and, of course, colin thurston
who produced duran duran's "Rio," the first record
whose liner notes i poured over obsessively (or wait,
was it "Thriller?") After tracking him to all the
Bowwowow and CAMOFLAGE (man, that's a name that takes
me back some), i was surprised to learn much later
that he was an engineer on david bowie's "Heroes."
Thusly the internet enriches our lives and makes us
smarter, sort of.
