In March of 1970, CSNY released "Deja Vu," which included the song
"Woodstock, " by Joni Mitchell.

One month later, Joni released "Ladies of the Canyon," which also included
"Woodstock."

The versions are completely different, and the CSNY recording is the more
well known.

Which is the cover?

Which should not have been released so soon?

Me, I love them both - in different ways and for different reasons. I could
care less than they were released a month apart. Granted, I heard them much
later, as I was only 3 at the time.

Ira
