I guess it's got to do with all the hype and press
overkill... yes, I'm talking 'bout you, NME!
personally, I'd rather that guitar bands who play rock get
the attention than the boybands and striptease artists that
have been hogging the limelight in the last few years...but
that's just my opinion.

credibility to back it up I thought the Vines was a decent cd
as well. I know they all get hyped but who cares? If it is
good..it is good. When I was a prof at LMU in Lipstick City,
some of the radio kids took my class. We would often get
into friendly discussions about the fact that the station did
not play anything that was released on a major. That is a
stupid reason not to play something..just because it got
released on a major. For instance. no Foo Fighters! I wonder
if Shawny Campbell's little station has the same rule? Macho
