Why do so many people hate the White Stripes? Why do people hate the Hives and Strokes? All those bands made find cds and in the case of the Hives and White Stripes have the indie credibility to back it up I thought the Vines was a decent cd as well. I know they all get hyped but who cares? If it is good..it is good. When I was a prof at LMU in Lipstick City, some of the radio kids took my class. We would often get into friendly discussions about the fact that the station did not play anything that was released on a major. That is a stupid reason not to play something..just because it got released on a major. For instance. no Foo Fighters! I wonder if Shawny Campbell's little station has the same rule? Macho Man
